Friends,
I'm going to begin sending out this weekly e-newsletter as a way to keep in touch with everyone in the parish every Monday. I thought Labor Day would be a good day to start since everyone is relaxing scrolling through their phones looking for something good to read!
The newsletter will include the week's announcements from the weekend Masses as a pdf attachment, the week's bulletin as a pdf attachment, updates and notes from me, and other helpful links and news from the Diocese of Saginaw and the Catholic world.
Given the fast pace of life these days, announcements, the bulletin, and even Facebook posts can be easily overlooked. Hopefully this email can serve as a means of staying connected and informed.
As we celebrate the offical end of the Summer with Labor Day, I want to keep in prayer all the students and teachers beginnnig the academic year. I always remember fondly this time of year when I was going through school. There's a strange mix of excitement for the new school year and trying to gear up for a new beginning of hard work.
A very happy Labor Day to everyone!
